IFAT India 2021 took place on December 2-4, 2021 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the consequent travel restrictions imposed by the Government of India, Messe Muenchen India announced the postponement of its trade show-IFAT India. Originally organised from September 28-30, 2021, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai; it was scheduled to take place from December 2-4, 2021, at Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The decision made took into consideration the industry’s feedback received from exhibitors, buyers, visitors, and key partners.

The 2021 edition will allow enhanced learning, engagement, and networking in the new normal through various participation options ranging from online, onsite and hybrid models. This will allow a seamlessly integrated experience for all participants.

Mr. Bhupinder Singh, CEO Messe Muenchen India, commented, “Keeping in mind the safety of our participants we have decided to reschedule the show. The new edition will provide a platform for exhibitors and visitors to meet each other face-to-face and get back to business.”

Dr. Amiya Kumar Sahu, Chairman, National Solid Waste Association of India (NSWAI) said, “We are in support of the decision taken by the organisers of this show as it is taken on solid grounds. The vaccination drives being conducted in the country along with the decreasing caseload of COVID-19 patients render us hopeful for the upcoming edition of IFAT India. We are expecting a higher rate of participation and a successful event in December as we emerge stronger together.”

The next edition of IFAT India will be held from December 2-4 2021 at Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
