LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA is rescheduled to December 16–18, 2021
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and consequent travel restrictions imposed by the Government of India, Messe Muenchen India has decided to reschedule its trade fair—LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA; co-located with electronica India, productronica India, and MatDispens. The event will now take place from December 16–18, 2021, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), in Bengaluru.
The decision is also based on the industry’s feedback received from exhibitors, buyers, and key partners.
The 2021 edition will provide an extended range of unique participation options which will enhance interactions, engagements, and learnings in the new normal. This approach will offer a seamlessly integrated experience through online and hybrid formats along with on-site exhibitions.
Mr. Bhupinder Singh, CEO Messe Muenchen India, comments: “Considering the current pandemic situation, December seems to be a better option to conduct the trade shows. It further enables us to provide a new platform for exhibitors and visitors to meet each other face-to-face and online and get back to business in a conducive and safe environment.”
Dr. Reinhard Pfeiffer, Deputy Chairman, Messe München GmbH also comments: “We support the decision to reschedule the events. We are also happy with the new extended platforms coming up. They offer the opportunity to reconnect, network, and drive business for the photonics community despite the pandemic.”
Dr. Lalit Kumar, President, Laser Industries Association of India also comments: “We support the decision taken by the organizers of LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA. As business is opening with decreasing COVID-19 cases in India and a large-scale vaccination campaign, there is a renewed enthusiasm in the market. The postponement will undoubtedly boost the participation from exhibitors and visitors for the show. The innovative formats will surely play a major role in the industry together. We look forward to the show!”
