The global digital economy meets at DMEXCO @home 2021

“What if we just saved the world?” That’s what Frank Schätzing will be asking in his talk on the first day of DMEXCO 2021. On September 7 at 10:20 a.m. CET, the German bestselling author (“The Swarm” and others) will be discussing his new book on the climate crisis and why society needs to take action now. In addition, ZDF correspondent and author Nicole Diekmann (“The Shitstorm Republic”) will be analyzing whether we’ve lost the ability to talk fairly and openly to each other in the digital world on September 7 at 5:40 p.m. CET together with other experts.

This year’s all-digital DMEXCO will also be a meeting place for top global CMOs from the digital economy. There will be a total of 600 speakers including the likes of Chief Marketing Officer Steve Axe (Nomad Foods), Maryam Banikarim (Nextdoor), Leanne Cutts (HSBC), Ariel Kelman (Oracle), Ann Lewnes (Adobe), Merle Meier-Holsten (Visa), Roger Solé (WeWork), Carla Piñeyro Sublett (IBM) and Julia White (SAP).

“With this year’s conference, we wanted to make a point of also providing a stage to those who shape the marketing of tomorrow: CMOs. Their decisions and viewpoints define the future of our digital industry. During discussions and collaborative talks, marketing managers and leading digital personalities will be able to explore our priorities as an industry and pave the way for sustainable, fair, and diverse online marketing. All in keeping with our DMEXCO motto of #SettingNewPriorities this year,” emphasizes Professor Dominik Matyka, Chief Advisor of DMEXCO.

For the very first time, DMEXCO participants and all the other 600 conference speakers will also be able to follow the presentations and panels on their smartphones and tablets this year.
